Magramane chairs 5th Algeria-Peru political consultations

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Lounes Magramane, co-chaired on Sunday, April 19th, in Algiers, alongside the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Peru, Eric Anderson Machado, the 5th session of Algeria-Peru political consultations.

The consultations provided an opportunity to review the state of the distinguished friendship between the two countries across all its dimensions. Both sides reaffirmed the need to deepen bilateral cooperation and align it with the investment opportunities and potential available in both countries, particularly in the fields of energy, agriculture, and industry.

"The two parties adopted a roadmap aimed at revitalizing existing inter-cooperation mechanisms to inject new momentum into them, with a particular emphasis on advancing economic cooperation.

The two delegations also exchanged views on the latest international and regional developments of mutual interest, especially those relating to the respective geopolitical environments of Algeria and Peru.
